I did not receive any notification that there was a problem (out of stock) with part of my order and only found this out when I enquired, after a few days when the delivery would be - this I should have been told.
Then I was asked if I wanted the parts that were ready to be sent - I answered YES.
The remaining order was supposed to arrive in warehoue yesterday but still no news

Apologies Brian that you were not informed about the out of stock items because as a rule we automatically email to confirm if anything is out of stock.The remainder of your order will be dispatched today for you. I will look into this so that it doesnt happen again in the future.

I was extremely disappointed as I paid 5.99 for speedy delivery as automatically quoted but didnt receive goods till 5 days later, when I rang to ask where goods were I spoke to a very rude lady who said I should have looked on the page and it would have told me goods were not available under speedy delivery service, if this is the case firstly is should have been made clearer and secondly why when you get to the despatch screen does it automatically switch to 5.99 delivery is this just to con the customer, I think so!!
Thank you for your comments regarding your order which we take on board. However the item you ordered is a 5 day turnaround as we have to order through our other warehouse and it does clearly state this on the website.The delivery is from when we get the goods in and despatched this is the service level on delivery and we adhere to this. Hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Service rating : OK although I did battle to order the second time around on the net and this resulted in my order being telephonically taken which does not give any update as tp when your order has been received/packed/dispatched and delivery date.
Product : I found the 38 too tight so had to use the 40. My M&S trousers are all 38R. Although the price was compeditive I would prefer buttons not metal hooks as the button can easily be replaced when broken.
