Ladies workwear trousers are seen in many work environments today from the factory floor to the office. Today, it is simply accepted practise but is there enough choice for today’s working woman.

Here at Brookes we have a great range of trousers that are specially designed and tailored for the feminine shape, whether it’s a pair of hardwearing Carhartt Carpenter Pants for the factory floor, or a pair of Brook Tavener Genoa Trousers for the office. We can even supply a pair of Skinnifit Cargo Trousers that look great whether worn for work or simply for pleasure. The Carpenter pants are made from heavyweight 100%cotton, the main seams are triple stitched for extra strength and durability and have a full fit throughout the hip and thigh areas while being high rise to sit at the waist. The Genoa Trousers, is made from a mix of polyester and wool with that added touch of lycra, just to aide the weft stretch of the garment. And have two side pockets as well as 2 mock rear pockets for style. The Skinnifit garment is made entirely of 100% cotton twill and has 2 back patch pockets and a single cargo style pocket on the right leg.

While there are still areas that manufacturers can improve on, the choice on offer today is still a vast important on what was available just ten years ago. Suppliers are even beginning to specialise in just womens workwear so that can only mean more choice in the near future.

All the trousers I have mentioned have been specifically selected by Brookes because they have been thoroughly tested to satisfy today’s active role in the workplace that women have, yet retaining the styling and class that women deserve. Ladies workwear trousers have certainly come a long way since their humble beginnings to what is on offer today.
