Unemployed father of two Matt Atkins from Essex has landed an interview for a new job after spending hours stood on a roundabout on the A127near Basildon, with a sign stating “Desperate for a job” and a contact telephone number. Now he can concentrate on looking good for the interview by having a suit jacket and trousers as first impressions count at an interview.

He has been out of work for eight years and has tried all the normal channels to find employment. However, he decided to take matters into his own hands after receiving rejection after rejection, and it looks to have had an effect. A passing businessman stopped and gave him a card and asked him to ring him. The businessman was from a local Ironmongery company who said he was impressed that someone who was looking for work was showing some initiative and deserved a chance to show what he could do. So after a telephone call and sending a CV, he has been asked to attend an interview next Monday.

It goes to show that the unconventional approach sometimes is the right way.

However interviews can be tricky and the first step is to look the part. Maybe Mr Atkins should check our range of suit jackets and trousers and see what they can do for a positive image, they would certainly give him that smart look required at an interview as our range of jackets and trousers are all of the highest quality and look good in any office environment. They are comfortable too, and all at the best prices around.

Here’s wishing him all the best for his interview.
